Purpose: To raise funds for Protect the Planet Stop TMX for:
- Legal support
- Camp expenses
- 50% of net (after expenses, to be calculated monthly), will be shared with frontline Indigenous-led groups opposing TMX.
Collection, Accounting & Disbursement of Funds:
- Burnaby Residents Opposing Kinder Morgan Expansion-BROKE will collect, account for and disperse all funds donated.
- Decisions regarding disbursement of the funds will be made by the Holmes Creek Protectors.
Unceded Coast Salish Territories (VANCOUVER, BC) — Starting on Aug.3, 2020, Holmes Creek Protectors have maintained a physically distanced tree-top camp and putting themselves physically in the way of Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion (TMX) project construction to draw attention to the health and ecological impacts of fossil fuel expansion. Their tree-top camp is located within a section of the pipeline route along the Brunette River that is scheduled to be cleared immanently. A growing community of supporters brings supplies and is actively supporting below the suspended platform around the clock. Please join us!
